I have pursued a lifelong interest in holistic system theory, the premise being: parts influence one another within a whole and health is the result of the parts working together in a state of equilibrium and mutually advantageous actions. I studied numerous specific schools of thought and practice

I consider the individual as a whole person-mind, body, spirit in an every changing environment . Each person is much more than an illness, diagnosis, or symptom and deserves a personal approach and customized plan of care.

I use two structured, integrative protocols: BodyTalk and Accunect,. Together they combine Western and Eastern medicine, energy, Jungian psychology, consciousness, the 5 elements, and chakras with the body’s innate wisdom and internal resources to address the whole body as a comprehensive . My work is to aid individuals in moving toward their own healing and providing
the opportunity to live, play work and grow.

Holistic Nursing
Holistic Nursing looks at the whole person- mind body and spirit in an ever changing environment and sees diagnosis, illness or symptoms as only one aspect of the individual.Holistic Nursing considers the individual a partner in the process of reestablishing health and as such,  offers this as a foundation for clarifying  and offering information from a variety of sources.

As a Holistic Nurse, I  support you in identifying what is important to you and provide you information on a wealth of medical and complimentary resources that can be utilized together to support you as an individual.   This would include considering your economic, cultural, religious, and spiritual values, beliefs and practices in designing a wellness plan with you that suites your lifestyle and will support your healing process. I do not prescribe, but aid you in making your own informed decisions.

BodyTalk and Accunect

BodyTalk™  re-patterns the way all the parts of the body work together in harmony, keeping hormones, emotions and mental clarity balanced and aiding the body in effective and efficient adaptation at times of change, minimizing the damaging physical effects of stress

The individual remains fully clothed sitting or comfortably lying on a massage table. The practitioner uses a highly structured, integrated protocol and employs neuromuscular biofeedback to identify weakened circuits of communication in priority order and determines an individualized approach for creating  the most effective and efficient way to create the greatest change – to regain balance and reduce unwanted symptoms. The process encompasses the latest scientific understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the body; the Five Element and Meridian Theories of Chinese Medicine;perspectives from Ayurvedic Medicine; Jungian Psychology; Brain biochemistry, Energy and Quantum Physics.

BodyTalk™  has no contraindications, does not prescribe pharmaceutical, herbal or therapeutic remedies or require any equipment, and can therefore be delivered at any time, any where in a safe and non invasive manner.

For every weakened circuit found, the practitioner or client contacts the corresponding “points” with his or her hands. The practitioner then lightly taps the client on the top of the head and on the chest, stimulating the brain and body to begin the repair. The tapping is based on an ancient Hatha Yoga technique that has shown,  through experiments using sophisticated  biofeedback machines, that using this technique while focusing on specific parts, increases brain activity that facilitates a major  increase in healing. The length of a session is usually between 30 minutes and one hour depending on how much the body is ready to receive. Most people experience a sense of calm and often find themselves falling asleep during a session.

BodyTalk has successfully supported individuals experiencing any type of pain regardless of location or underlying root cause; immune reactions including colds and viruses;  inflammatory reactions;  surgical or other trauma; mental confusion; stress reactions, and side effect reactions from on going traditional medical treatments.

Testimonials

I had several sessions with Jalma and while I visited her with no particular

reason in mind, I started to notice changes within and externally. I noticed

that I was less achy, that I had less acne breakouts and the anxiety about

what I was going to do in the next phase of my life lessened. I felt like I had

more of a direction and purpose. Her sessions are very empowering, filled

with energy and her level of knowledge is very deep. Everyone should try

BodyTalk with Jalma

As someone who is very analytical and verbal, BT is different than other therapies, because it’s not about

talking/analyzing to resolve something that may be causing dis-ease for me. I can’t deny the benefit

though, both physically and emotionally – BT works at a level separate from rational & sequential thought.

I don’t fully understand how BT works, I just know that it does. I come away from a session feeling better

and over the next few days, often feel even more benefit

Donna, MS, Global Strategy Execution

I was somewhat skeptical at first, tending to be someone who struggles with

believing in something until I’ve experienced it myself. The healing that has taken

place for me since my BodyTalk session has been amazing, dealing with emotional

wounds from when I was a very young child. I feel calmer and more at ease in my

body. Thank you so much for making me a believer in this wonderful technique.

Carolyn, MSW

Thank you Jalma! I had a wonderful and magical day yesterday. I was able

to use it on my Dad and husband. They loved it!!!! My Dad felt better and

more energized and my husband slept like a baby. My husband said that

the system really works. I also started my day using the whole system and

I had a perfect day!!!!!! I was not overwhelmed and did not experience any

anxiety today…

I have done several types of body centered growth work. In my experience,

BodyTalk has produced the most powerful insights and it has enabled me

to grow in new ways.

Body Talk is undefinable and indescribable. Those words, in themselves, will tell you how

powerful this has been for me. The concept of someone being able to communicate with my

body is mind boggling. Body Talk helped my stepdaughter in California in three sessions

to cope with her grief and anger, as well as physical issues that were resolved. I had been

in unrelenting pelvic pain for months when I made an appointment with Jalma. Her medical

background is remarkable and her sensitivity to reading my body talking to her was nothing

short of amazing. She gave me her undivided attention and was totally connected with my body

and emotions. Although each person’s amount of time will vary, after four Body Talk sessions I

am now free of the pain

Barbara , retired educator

Jalma has a gift for feeling at the “unseen” level. She has a natural talent for Bodytalk and has

helped me and my dog feel better than we have in years!

I was born in 1952 in western PA, on the edge of the Allegheny National Forest. I grew up with 6 brothers and one sister in an Italian American family. My father was a WWII veteran who later went on to become a lifelong restaurateur. My work ethic was forged in the restaurant business, at age 8. My thirst for knowledge was inborn and has never been satisfied. I met my wife in high school at age 15, decided on a career in medicine at age 17 and married at age 20. After 11 years of post high school training, I started the job that would define my career, but now I have the opportunity to practice the job of my dreams. Come join me on the journey.

Journey through Medicine to Synergy Integrative Health

You may ask yourself, “ How does an American born and American trained doctor end up as a holistic physician”. For me it was the approach to health that got me started over 30 years ago. I was trained at Temple Medical School and did my residency at Abington Hospital. We were taught to make a diagnosis and then match the treatment to that diagnosis with the expectation that it would “cure” or control the “illness”. Early on I became an advocate for early detection of illness, unfortunately at that time I naively saw this as prevention and restoring health. It was not long before I realized despite the best conventional medicine could provide, I would often end up only controlling the illness or dealing with the long term loss of health. A long search for a better way brought me to the combination of conventional and holistic medicine, now with a focus on health rather than illness. My function now is not the doctor-patient contract of the past, but as a health counselor to an invested, motivated and self guided health consumer. In that capacity, I am not the physician, but the mentor of my clients who seek out the best, and most effective approach from an integrative and holistic path to health and/or recovery.

Dr. Aiello is available for consultations to develop a treatment plan in conjunction with your primary care physician or other specialist. His recommendations may include herbals, homeopathics, supplements, other holistic modalities or treatments, and nutritional/exercise changes to enhance your healing and long-term good health. These consultations do not include an exam or diagnosis. Instead they focus on forming a more holistic approach to your health-care. Many of Dr. Aiello’s patients will include a holistic consultation visit as part of their usual health care, not to treat an illness, but to seek information that will help them optimize their health. Such patients will schedule a session to review and seek guidance regarding their current supplement regiment, to seek nutritional advice, or to formulate a plan to take back control of their health.
